Iconic Mid-Century Modern coffee table designed by Grete Jalk and made in Teak by Glostrup Mobelfabrik, Denmark.
Elegant top with a slightly oblong shape and perfectly polished beveled edges. This table has a document holder underneath which is decorated with discreet pure brass inlays.
On the bottom has a original label that confirms the authenticity. This furniture is listed on the Design Museum Denmark website under No: RP15905 -

RARE 186cm length Mid-Century Modern style coffee table top has perfectly polished beveled edges, which is the uniqueness sight of Kurt Østervig's tables. At the bottom of the table top is the authentic model number of this table - No219. Not many of these tables were made due to the exceptionally rare long length.
