Rare mid-century Columbus lounge chair designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Dux, Sweden, ca. 1954. Soft, sculptural form reflecting the shift towards organic Scandinavian modernism. Produced for a limited period as part of the Dux Studio collection and rarely seen on the market today. Professionally restored with refinished wooden legs and new Nevotex upholstery, maintaining original proportions and character. Documented in Andreas Siesing’s reference book on Swedish furniture design. -

Fabric made from Recycled wool bound together with strong polyamide makes this quality useful in various environments. By combining yarn from recycled clothing in different colors the textiles get their shades.
Burned stamps confirm the authenticity of the furniture and marks 1959s.
